Halloween Event 07?

Who thinks there should be a Halloween Event? The exact same one they had a few years ago? With the Costume Contest? Maybe it could be a little more organized now, but I really did like that event, since it was the event where they gave out infernos, candy cauldrons, HM costumes, etc. Of course, those items (except inferno) weren't released yet, so if they did it this year again they could give away inferno plus new items.

I would REALLY love a chance to get that inferno, and it was really fun looking at what people came up with and what you can come up with yourself.

Well they DID hane out the inferno in the event a few years ago, but the winners didn't always get inferno. It depended on your staff and how much they liked your costume.

Yes it would be cool..It was fun when they did it before...amazing at some of the cool costumes people would come with! And yes they haev given inferno out for certain host events!! Not to often but they have!

ALthought if I remember correctly there is something on the calender that talks about some event at the end of the month..so maybe that could be it?

Up until some time last year they had inferno in 3-10 host games every month?

So they would just go around handing stuff like that out. 1 month they handed out 50 infernos to lucky players.

Why no inferno? Do you have inferno and don't want it's value to go down? I used to have inferno and someone used a hacking program to steal it and would want to get it back. Yes I traded alot for that inferno. If I had 20 infernos I would still want them to start giving them away from host games, events , etc.

Really? Are you sure LAST year was the costume event? It seems far longer, because I know Miakoda was still going on regularly back then...

I think last year was the maze event because that was the event where you got the halloween 06 pin... i think

That is what I meant by "Various things".
Although in October 2005 there was a Maze Event and it was a disaster.
Maybe I am mistaken, but for some reason I dont remember a Costume Contest in 2005- The only thing I can remember is the Maze Event with VERY long queue lines and nobody being able to get in, because they'd crash before they got the chance.. Ooohh.. the good old days!

Im not that new! LOL it is just that I quit playing for some time up until Halloween last year, and they deleted my account, due to the fact I wasn't playing on it for some time. but now I saw the dis boards this year from my hibernation on vmk I decided to join the boards. thanks.

I wasn't here for Halloween '05 (started in April '06). For H'06 they did have a Maze event, the prize being an H'06 Pin. When it was announced weeks ahead of time there was much bru-ha-ha here at Dis about the nightmare that was the '05 Maze. The '06 Maze, after some initial difficulties, I thought ran rather well, and I recall most people were satisfied with it by the end.

There were no Host/Staff-sponsored Costume Contest for Halloween '06.

Halloween '05 did have a costume contest at the Castle Forecourt. I remember sitting there all day, trying to stay connected with the rampant dc and room lines. I tried several costumes, none of which won. Yes, inferno was one of the prizes.
