Halloween Discussion - Costumes, parties, and traditions!

What are your Halloween traditions? What are you/r kids gonna be this year?

I'm going to be a witch, a black gown and hat with purple boa trimmings. :teeth: My traditions? Well, I don't have too many. We usually buy some pumpkins which my mom carves beautifully, and scoop out the seeds for snacks later. We'd toast them and take some with us when we go trick-or-treating. On Halloween night, we'd go outside on the porch when the neighbours come out (Julia, 9, and Christina, 4) and add the finishing touches to our costumes (and make-up) and my dad and their dad will come with us and our moms will hand out treats and look after our pets (my dog, their two cats). So, what 'bout you?

Oh! I love halloween! Its the only time outside of anime conventions I get to cosplay :)

As for me, this year me and some friends are going as characters from the Cat in the Hat. I'm...the Cat in the Hat! Lol. Two of my friends are being Things One and Two, and my other friend is going to be the Goldfish.

As for traditions...my school usually has a costume party on Halloween, and teachers give out candy sometimes if they're nice :) :) :). This year rumor has it a club is running a dance as well! For that though, I think I'm going to still with my good old Sakura Haruno cosutme I'm going to start soon... :)

Oh yes, school! Our first dance this year (I'm in grade 7, and grade 7s and 8s get dances) with snacks and glowsticks. The kindergarten classes come upstairs to our classes and walk around the class in their costumes. We trade candy between ourselves too! only grade four and below are allowed wearing costumes though.
