Actually he called me and said he needed me to help him with his deck, and said he won't make me mow his lawn this time, so I guess that means he is going to make LaRue do it

Why do you think some got the papers from DCL and others didn't?

I know I've posted this before but I wanted to stay at the new Marriot hotel the night before the cruise. Unfortunately, they do not provide transportation to the port. We won't get to the hotel until 6:00 Friday night and there will be 6 maybe 7 of us. Where do you think is the best place to stay?

I'm babysitting today for my friends little girl. I will be watching High School Musical ( Olivia's current favorite movie) for the 100th time. We are having a nor easter here in MA. Good day for a movie (I actually really like this movie )

Nothing like a 1000 foot wall of dust traveling at 50+mph. It's visually impressive. It didn't have much effect on me. It kind of followed me home, but I was inside before it got to my house. Well, it might effect me when I look at my pool... The wind and dust usually make a nice little mess in the pool. They are NO fun to drive in though. Much like driving in a white out - hey, where did the road go? Can you see? <<crash>>

Can you get video of LaRue mowing the lawn while your brother degrades her? That might be entertaining to watch. Advise him to keep his degradation volume below the mower's or she might put a whoop on him!

They said on the news that the dust is so fine that it will get into your car, and you can watch while it fills up. How often do you experience these storms?

We lost power due to the winds which cut off the pump and in turn like I said we're flooded. I am a little stressed although this supports my case for new carpets in the kids playroom downstairs!!

Well...

... we may still change costumes.... well... maybe NOT. I have too much effort invested into it to change. Besides - Anakin is hot for Padme so the plot matches my situation. Although I don't know what Jedi order I'll be bringing down in the years to come. However... I do have vulnerable tendencies for the Dark side of the FORCE!!!

At any rate - AWOL, this talk of a H * A * B * O * O * B is pretty amazing. I gather that it's some sort of dust storm you get ocassionally in Phoenix. I've never heard of anything like that before - but googling it brought this up in AZ - a dense atmospheric overflow in line...

Here's a description I found on the web....

The name Ha**** is the rooted from the Arabic word "phenomena". This form of monsoon occurs from May until September. It's a dust storm moving at a maximum speed of 80kph (50mph), the average speed is 50kph (30mph). The storm can reach up to heights of 3000 feet. They last about three hours, in which they change the desert landscape.
The Ha**** wind is caused by thunderclouds in a final phase. Downdrafts in a thunderstorm causes gust fronts, descending air hitting the grond and picking up large amounts of dust. The force moves the dust from above.

You just like saying the name, don't you?

It is certainly impressive looking stuff. They don't tend to do much damage other than when cars don't get off the road and get their lights turned off (and feet off of the brake pedal). That's when people get hurt. You don't want some crack'ed up truck driver with a porn mag in his lap trying to follow you when you are parked!
