Good evening All,

Heather and I have been working oh soo hard on a web site for our cruise... A moderator recommend to us that having all of our information on a secure web site that can only be accessed by all of us. In turn, we will be able to include much more valuable information about the cruise and all of our activites. Below you will find the information that we will need from each of you to put in the web site.

This is only for the DISers who are posting to this thread. Please have an adult in your group send the following & I will add it to the site & send you the link once I have updated the link. I will add your email to the group list so that you will be notified when the site has been updated with more info.

DIS ID: If you don't include this info, we wont know who you are.
Family name:
Individual names of family members (please include the children' ages at the time of the cruise so that I can put them in the right grouping)
Birthdates: so that we can add them to our cruise list
Celebration:
Stateroom:
Dining:
Hometown:
Pre/Post Cruise Plans: (Date arriving in FL & where you will be staying Friday night & if you plan to stay at WDW after the cruise. This info allowed some of us to arrange meets prior to the cruise.)

A short note with where you work & what activities you like to do.

Please send a picture of your family to be included. This way we will be able to reconize all of you...

For those with children, please send an individual picture pf each child to be put on the DIS Kids page by age group so that the kids can get to know each other a little better. Let the kids tell the others their age, grade in school, favorite thing to eat on the ship, favorite Disney character, & their favorite activity on the ship...whatever they want to write about.

We will have also have a page to list Palo resie times & excursions to help make plans.

stolteheather@yahoo.com

kristinguillemette@sbcglobal.net

Just a reminder to send Kristin or I an e-mail, if you are interested in signing up for trick or treat. We already have a few families signed up. :thumbsup2 We are hoping more of you will step up to make this a great event for the kids. Keep in mind we are also in need of volunteers to hand out candy.

Welcome to our little scary halloween gang! Ok, well ... maybe it's just AWOL who is the scary one that makes our thread creepy (it's his icon that gives me the creeps!) ... well, maybe I'm just foolin'. As I think AWOL passes for a barely normal sort.... depending on whether a full moon is out!

TTFN! :thumbsup2

YeeOUCH!!!

pirate: :scared: :scared1: BOO!!! :scared1: :scared: pirate: :rotfl2:

Is it bag on Awol day again already? :rotfl2: No problem, I can take it. Probably 'cause it's mostly true.

:welcome: to team Evelyn! You're going to have a ball. And your kids probably will too. ;)

Here's some more H * A * B * O * O * B pictures for you crash. I don't know if it was actually H * A * B * O * O * B related, but it did cause a small power outage out in Gilbert...

Well, sort of. It was metro-phoenix. But Gilbert is probably 60 miles from my house. It looks like they were taken on the 7th, which is about the time we had the H*A*B*O*O*B.

Is that common in the southwest to store your trampoline high on a utility pole above the train tracks????

Store it? That's where we use them? What do you do with yours?

Actually, we only do that next to a field of cotton or alfalfa (apparently).

Unfortunately for the kids, we don't have one. We did have one once for about 6 six hours when the one next door came flying over our fence and bounced off our house :jumping1:

Hello everyone  - and a big welcome to fourlittlemuchkins and family :welcome:

I was just over at "rumors and news" and it looks like "The Santa Clause 3" :santa: is going to open on Nov 3rd!!! (you can catch the trailer at IMDB - they have a link)

I always thought it would be neat to go to the opening of a movie while onboard...something to look forward to and a nice way to transition from Halloween celebrations to the Holiday spirit!!! pixiedust:

Hope all is well with everyone!!! :sunny:

That WILL be cool to see. Do you think they'll show it on the dumbotron, too? Probably not...

So, they left their H*A*B*O*O*B out flappin' in the breeze? I never thought of using a trampoline as a kite....

Well now... I turn away for a couple of days and it's like rush hour traffic swept through here. PArdon me while I merge in with a few comments here... BEEEP!!!... who was that?!?!? :confused3

Kristen...

Can you post an enlarged image in
brackets for Evelyn? She wants ta see your BEE - U - TEE - FUL girls! Oh - and I noticed you resized your signature images. It looks as if you might have resized them too small. I think the forum rules allow for a slightly larger size. You might want to adjust those signature images a tad larger :confused3 (like 10 or 20 pixels each way or 20% bigger) and I'm sure you'd be compliant! HEY, I enjoy seeing your girls too and they're too small an image now!!! HECK, Your girls' photos help keep our thread looking friendly and family oriented! This image is precisely at the maximum allowed size of 200x300 pixels for a signature image:

trampoline.jpg

And on the tramp on the post pix .... hmmm, it looks pretty amazing to me. Now that's something you just don't see everyday - except I guess it's pretty common in those parts! :lmao:

'round here we just have the kids jump on the beds til they bounce off the ceiling or somethin' like dat.

fairhotdogonastick.jpg

SO - was I the only one who ran out for the FREE hot dog on a stick promo last nite? It was their 60th anniversery and every store was giving away free Hot dogs on a stick to everyone from 5-9PM. I found out sort of late in the day and could not post a useful FYI here. My family had 4 FREE hot dogs on a stick, a veggie dog and lemonaid. We saved 12 bucks on hot dogs!!! Woo -ow... (ironic understated tone). I imagine they broke even on us given I paid the promo $0.50 on the veggie dog plus the lemonaid. I thought the oil saturation however in the dogs was a bit too much though. :confused3 So this was NOT all that perfect a bargain. <burp*>

Cheers!

Ooooh - Kahy!!! I stand corrected....

..."HECK, Your girls' photos help keep our thread looking friendly, family oriented and alternately in step with our Halloween Voyage Theme (considering the matching costumes)!"....

Now... I'm NOT gonna amend this AGAIN. Anyone have a complaint - they're just gonna have to call a forum modrerator!!! Humpf! :confused3

Now...

... is this really how these things are used in AZ? Is it cheaper than installing power transformers or is it really some sort of new solar array or microwave relay station? I've heard there's a liitle more sunshine out that-a-ways - so solar array thing might just be the case here?

If a solar array - does it qualify for the new federal energy conservation rebates? :happytv:

This is very exciting. I love those movies. My kids really love them. I can't wait to see it. Hopefully they'll show a midnight screening on Thursday. We were on board for the opening of Valiant. So much fun.

Amazing trampoline picture. was it a tornado?

Had my downstairs (that flooded) measured for new carpet today :sad2: . He said to rip up the wet carpet asap and spray bleach to get rid of any mold that may have formed... YUK!

Crash.........I hadn't heard of the free hotdog on a stick day. I'm not sure Massachusettes celabrated this day. My kids would have loved that. We do have a yummy ice cream flavor from Brigham's that I discovered yesterday. Fluffernutter! That has to be one of my favorite sandwiches. PB ice cream with peanutbutter cups and swirls of marmallow cream. Fabulous!!!

Welcome Evelyn!! I'd love to see your children. Kristin's twins are 4 too. So fun!!

Good questions! I think it might be a new design for a disguised cell phone tower!

Welcome Evelyn!! I'd love to see your children. Kristin's twins are 4 too. So fun!!

Let me begin one by one from the top here Princess Olivia...

On the screening... it took me a moment to realize the movie premiere would occur while we're sailing - so we might get treated to a grand (?) introductary screening at sea! Now that sounds like fun. And if nothing else it wil be a 1st for my family.

And on the tramoline - it seems they had a wind storm called a h-a-b-o-o-b (word hyphenated to defeat the automated filter that thinks this work is profane). I posted some photos 2 or 3 pages back showing this huge wall of dust that stretches nearly to the horizon and is 1000-2000 feet tall! Quite a sight if you ask me.

On the mold issue - if you have flood insurance - or insurance that covers your damages - then I would get expert mold abatement services. Mold in your home can be a real problem - and probably can be cost effective and cheap to manage or expensive but throughly handled.

And - from what I understand it was a coast to coast promo on the free hot dogs. I heard about it too late to post a useful FYI here. For what it's worth - I'm no longer in a mood for a hot dog on a stick for the remainder of this YEAR!

Now ... AWOL - today ....

Tell me... is this REALLY an AZ cellular tower on the left? On the right is one of our fancier Calif. cellular towers.
