Anyone have any cute easy craft ideas for my ds kindergarten halloween party???

Here are 3 that I have done with large groups of kids ranging from 4-8. All 3 are easy to do from scratch, or you can do a little prep work and cut down on the time/skill needed from the kids. All 3 are also very inexpensive to do with large groups.

Paper plate pumpkins...
Take a paper plate, have the kids paint them orange (cheap tempera paint works fine) and then they cut out the shapes for the eyes, nose and mouth from yellow or black construction paper and glue on (or you can have many pre cut options available and they pick them out and glue). Here's a link to the original craft, we've adapted it to conserve on the budget some.

Lollypop ghosts are always a hit and easy to do...

We've also adapted this into spiders by covering with black felt, wrapping 4 short (cut in 1/2 or 1/3) pipe cleaners around the base (at the mid point of the pipe cleaner so you end up with 8 legs) and adding googly eyes to the top.

We use plastic spoons and Popsicle sticks and pre hot glue the "forms" so the kids just need to wrap and decorate them. We also just use my husbands old t-shirts torn into strips for the kids to wrap with. A dab of hot glue in the end works great and it's fast so the kids can go back and add the eyes and be done.

Go to Dollar Tree and buy plastic food service gloves. They look like they're made out of saran wrap. Have kids put a candy corn in the bottom of each finger. Stuff with popcorn and tie. Very cute. :)

These are cute and easy!

Pumpkin painting is fun if you can get the very small pumpkins at a good price.

Another idea is to take a white paper bag and stuff it with news paper, tie off an inch or two with green yarn. Paint large botton part orange and top green for stem. Add black paper mouth, eyes, etc.

I like the paper plate pumpkins with pre-cut shapes. (And of course they have to tell you the names of the shapes and how many they used!)

Another idea is handprint ghosts: Prep ahead by coloring a ton of those sticky paper reinforcements black while they are still on the sheets. For the messy version, have each child dip one hand in washable white paint and then press it on dark paper. Turn the paper upside down, and you have a ghost! Use the black circle stickers for eyes. For a less messy version, trace the children's hands on white paper and cut them out. Use the stickers the same way.
