What halloween costumes have you seen on trick-or-treaters that was the cutest/weirdest/scariest/best you've ever seen?

Several years ago we had a bunch of ~4 year old trick-or-treaters all dressed up like m&ms - all different colors - about 6 of them - all at my door at one time. It was downright adorable!

ETA - let's keep this to trick-or-treater costumes. Not adult costumes for a big party or anything.

Several years ago, my daughter went as a package of Bubble Yum Bubble Gum. We got a big box, painted the exact label on it, etc. She got lots of compliments from parents who handed out candy that year.

It's funny you mention the m&m's -- my daughter, now a teen, goes out with a group of friends. I don't mind because they really get together early and get a "group" theme going and they do a lot of work for their costumes. They actually end up getting lots of compliments. Their group of 7 are going as the m&m's this year. They each have a different colored t-shirt with a white "m" painted on front, white gloves, matching lipstick to their shirt color (girls), and they're wearing black for pants. I can't wait to take pictures of them!

When I was in 5th grade a group of us went as pac-man and the ghosts. And the next year we went as greasers from "the Outsiders" (it was the 80's!):lmao::rotfl::lmao:

last halloween my friend's daughter and her friends went as breakfast! one girl was eggs (sunny side up), someone was 2 strips of bacon, a blueberry muffin, a fork, and someone was a glass of oj. it was SOOO cute. I have a pic but can't post as it is not my child but it was very creative.

I made my son a Phineas costume for this year! As we walked throught the SPooky Festival at the Park you could hear kids yelling Phineas from across the park! He loved that they recognized his costume!

A friend made this 2 years ago for him and he asked to wear it again this year. I can't believe it still fits! We got just as many compliments on it Wednesday nite(university TOT party) as we did 2 years ago. DS had a blast "woofing" at all the sorority girls(who melted all over him) and really barking at the football players-they wanted to make him their mascot :rotfl2:
