Hi all,
I am on a quest for either a Power Ranger costume (green would be preferred) or Buzz Lightyear. This would be for a 6 year old. I went to my local Walmart and Superstore so far and no luck. Anyone have any ideas? Have you seen any in Mississauga? Who has a great selection of Disney costumes. The Disney Store seems too pricey!
Thanks.

I saw some really good ones (power rangers) in Winners but they were still pricey...30 bucks for one night uinless you are planning to use them again. Superstore has the buzz light year ones here in Calgary. Not sure what Superstore is down there? My 2 boys are both going to be spiderman and we even got a spiderman costume for the dog from Shoppers drug mart for 8 bucks. My 10 year old daughter wants to be Tinkerbell again....this year we have to upgrade to a ladies costume because she is sooooo tall.

The Winners in Oakville had some Buzz lightyear costumes the last time I was there. Try Costco too , they had a whole bunch of Disney Costumes.

I was at Sears here in NB on the weekend & noticed that they had adult Disney costumes there in the sock dept. I wasn't in the kids dept but you may want to check it out. The adult ones they had were Tinkerbell, Ariel & Cinderella plus they had Jack Sparrow for men. Sorry, I didn't check the price.

Thanks for telling us. The Disney store adult costumes are expensive so hopefully sears will be a bit cheaper as I am unsure of how long my dd(10) will want to keep dressing up as tinkerbell.

Value Village has Buzz Lightyear. Can't remember if they had Power Rangers or not.

ooooooooh my favourite place....I have even trained my three kids to shop there...but then again I go GA GA over garage sales too! I will have to go and have a looky loo.

I also saw Disney costumes at Sears here in Burlington. Probably have them in Mississauga as well. Sorry I didn't notice the price though.

Value Village has the blue and red power ranger - sorry, no green :guilty:
My DS ended up with The Incredibles costume - DASH. He normally is into power rangers and pirates, but after trying this costume on, ended up wearing it all night. He is going to wear it at MNSSHP next Friday.

I was going to put it on Ebay this weekend ~ I just have to double check with my son but he is 9 and doesn't fit into it anymore. It is from the Disney Store ~ he wore until he was 7. It has the wings, purple hood, boots and of course the full body costume. I am asking $25 plus shipping if you are interested.
You can PM me.

Thanks everyone - I managed to find the green power ranger at Loblaws for $22 plus tax. Now adays these kids want a new costume every year --- when we were kids it was teh same costume for 5 years!
I really wanted him to dress like Buzz since his brotehr will be Woody but he loved the Green Ranger outfit. I have never been to Value Village - got to check it out.
If anyone has any ideas on good Disney adult costumes which are not too expensive -- please let me know.
Thanks again for all your replies...
