Last minute Halloween costume help!
I want to make a medieval/renaissance type corset or jerkin from 3 or 4 placemats. (I found some on sale that are brown faux suede).
Anyone have a how-to or pattern?
It's to go over a loose white blouse & long print skirt -- like a wench/peasant costume, adult large/xl.
I'll use some kind of cord or laces for the front.
I'm thinking the basic idea is a placemat on each side in front and two in the back, but I was wondering if anyone had tips on how to make it have the historic look.
