Halloween break weather??

Hi all

Havnt been on here in months as we had no trips planned due mainly to my dd on-going health problems. Anyway as the paris route is soon to be cut from our local airport it gave me the push i needed and ive just booked a few days at the cheyenne during mid-term break. It works out perfectly as my dd goes into hospital the following week so it gives us all the lift we need b4 that

Anyway my question is what is the weather like this time of year should i take ski gear for the kids or will warm jackets, hats/scarf be enough

First time we went it was halloween, and looking back at our pics my DD just had a warm coat & scarf (with her witches dress underneath of course!!!!). It was only in the evenings it got really chilly or when she wasn't moving around. We had lovely bright days, very lucky, and hoping for the same this time!

Excuse the stupid face, I was in the middle of a sneeze!!!!!!!!

We were there last year and our boys were fine with jumpers and coats with hats etc too.

It was a bit chilly when I went in October 2008 (more so at night). I don't think ski stuff is necessary, a warm coat will do.

Agree that warm coats will be enough. Believe it or not I was walking around in a sleeveless vest one day in October and had to use suncream!!

Went at October half term last year (Mon 26th) for a few days and it was bright blue skies. Also in the day time it was just about warm enough to wear a T-Shirt (And some people were too). Going at the same time this year too and hoping for the same but to be honest we've got to be very lucky for that to happen again

We flew from dublin to beauvais our last 2 times but are flying dublin to cdg this time. Ryanair are great for the cheap flights but we're in kilkenny so its a handy spin although with the new motorway it might be less of a trek now for you.

we stay in the travelodge in swords the night before we fly for €19 - €39 per room!! (ten mins to red long term carpark which is ten mins by the shuttle bus to the airport) hope this helps for your next trip.

Oct half term last yr was lovely! crisp but sunny
and a lot of the time we didn't even need coats at all!

def wont need ski gear lol !
but take umbrellas / waterproofs in case!
