Halloween Birthday Which Restaurant

My son turns 15 on 10-31-2015 and we are arriving the day before. We have park hoppers and only have one day for Halloween decorations. Which parks are must see in Halloween atmosphere? Restaurant for birthday dinner? thinking maybe Be Our Guest. although we have eaten there before so we're open to suggestions.

Are you planning on MNSSHP? MK has the best/only Halloween decorations and the park will close to regular guests by 7:00. If you aren't planning on attending the party, you'll have to schedule an ADR for BOG before 7:00.

I was told they won't do MNSSHP on the 31st because it is a weekend. That was from Disney reservations number.

WOW!!! I don't know if that is true or not and we won't for months. The dates haven't been released yet. But the Halloween Party has always been sold out on Halloween itself.
MK is really the only park that does any kind of decorations for Halloween, if that is important to you.
I don't think the MK has the best restaurants. I think the nearby resorts are better.
If it is important to you to have your son's birthday "recognized" in some way, the only way to assure that is to plan, and pay for, a special thing yourself. You can have special cakes delivered to restaurants or you can have Disney Florist decorate your hotel room etc.
Hundreds, if not thousands, of guests celebrate something every day at Disney. Disney can not individually recognize everyone ---- and they don't. Some restaurants may give you a cupcake with candle, or confetti on the table, or the CM's may wish you DS "Happy Birthday" or they may not.

MNSSHP should be on Halloween this year as it has been for all the other years. Tickets will be available beginning May 1st and if he wants to go to the Party, you should purchase them as quickly as possible.

When the October park hours are released, check to see if MK closes at 7:00 on the 31st. If so, there is MNSSHP that night. I think he would probably enjoy the party, Halloween Parade and fireworks. Party guests can enter MK as early as 4:00 with Party tickets.

I just got off the phone with them. There is always a MNSSHP on Halloween. I have to get tickets on may 1st. Will they change to Christmas that night after party.

It may take a couple of days for the changeover to Christmas. This year it took until mid-week... possibly because they had new decor on Main Street. Oftentimes it occurred overnight as soon as the party ended.

Staying from the Halloween to the Christmas decorations was awesome. Then we finished out he week with the last Osborne family lights. It will be tough to top that one. That doesn't mean we won't try. My Dw and I just put an offer on DVC resale. Fingers crossed.
