Anyone have any information on any special events at Sea World around Halloween? I recall reading some posts a couple of months ago, but nothing specific.

Weekends in October will see Shamu's Spooktacular. Children can dress up in costume and go trick or treating, do arts and crafts and even see some special characters out for the event. They do not have to be in costume, and the event is included in park admission.

Yes it does. Its free candy, and it doesnt cost extra....yeah....a little busy. Though my son and I got there at 4 and still had a lot of time to get candy. They also do Halloween versions of all the normal shows.

Sounds like a good time, we'll be down there the weekend of October 19th. Thanks for the valuable input.

Some pics from the event last year I found:

Thanks for the great pictures! It looks like the lines weren't too bad. Your daughter seems as though she enjoyed the day!

Thanks again for sharing your vacation!

That sounds so neat...we will be there in October too.

We went last October 28 and DS4 loved it! Between the candy he got at SW and MNSSHP on Halloween night, he made out like a bandit!
