We will be at wdw on Halloween this year. Can't afford MNSSHP. Some suggested the haunted carriage ride. So I was wondering if any of you all veteran wdw campers could answer a few questions.
The proposed plan would be.... MK til about 7pm on Halloween. Then take a boat ride over to FW. Grab some quick food somewhere, then have reservations for the haunted carriage ride ( I understand I Need to make reservations on may 4 at 7am to get a spot).
Then maybe sit on beach and watch firework and water parade. Then head back to our car at MK. We are staying at Windsor Hills.
Questions.....
Can we get back to our car at midnight when parade is over? How would we manage that? Boat, bus, monorail?
Would it be better to drive to FW for the haunted ride? Wil they let us park if we have reservations?
How crazy busy will it be there at FW on Halloween? Will we even find a place on the beach to watch fireworks? I've never been to FW so I have no idea of what is there.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

you should check out the latest menus online closer to your trip. The beach does get crowded on Halloween night but it is very festive watching Hallowishes from the beach! And you will love seeing the decorated golf carts -- look for our two! Just be aware that there are far more people than beach chairs so you may very well have to stand or sit on the sand. We have never done the carriage ride so I can't comment on that.
and what a scenic way to end your night!
