Trick or Treating is a huge event... most people say you should be camping at FW, but I know many local people bring their kids to ToT at FW. If you plan to participate, bring tons of candy!!! I have been stockpiling for weeks in preparation for the 1000s of ToTers!
Well I bet alot of those local will be surprised this year because FW management has increased security to keep locals out of the resort during Halloween as well as during all Holiday weekends. It specifically states that the Halloween events are for those staying at FW. Even those staying at other resorts are not suppose to come to FW. I'm sure alot of them do -- ya know how some are.

A few of the other resorts, based on last year's listing which is currently still available on the DIS site under EVENTS, have Halloween activities. I hope the integrity of the event is upheld this year with Fort activities for Fort campers, OKW activities for OKW guests, WL activities for WL guests, etc.
Since Halloween falls on a Monday this year, will there be any Halloween activities at Ft Wilderness throughout the weekend? We check in on Thursday the 27th but have to check out Sunday the 30th due to the kids being in school. I only see the activities from 2010 posted.
