Halloween at Disneyland with the DH

I booked flights for DH and I to belatedly celebrate our anniversary the last week in October to enjoy Halloween at Disneyland. Our 27th anniversary is October 9th.

This is our 1st couples trip to a disney park and I am super excited!

We will pass on the Halloween party (assuming it happens). We have not been to Disneyland in several years, I am going to have to do some research.

Here is last year's superthread for Halloween Time: Mickey's Halloween Party and Halloween Time Superthread 2018!!. This will give you a basic idea of what was available and when, how things went overall, reviews of food and merchandise, etc. Also, Halloween Day usually is pretty good crowd wise in the earlier hours, but gets very crowded once the early MHP hours start. And DCA gets very crowded that night. Since there is a rumor that the party will move to DCA this year, keep alert for news on that front since that may affect your park plans. Have a great trip!

Historically, the alternative park gets very busy on MHP nights. The last two years, since Disney started decorating DCA for Halloween and since MHP tickets became park hoppers, DCA became noticeably more busy on party nights.
