I know a few are heading off for these events so thought that this announcement regarding the Halloween celebrations may be of interest :)

Great news, I'm glad they're keeping the pumpkinmen, they are our favourite so we'll definitely be cheering for them. The Pink Witches are just a bit too screechy for us!

Sounds great! I wish I was going:thumbsup2

WOW! Thanks Reid that sounds amazing! I'm so excited, I love Halloween, I think I'm getting on my daughters nerves a little!

Hi, is there any news or links about the Halloween party that takes place on 31st October?

We are going to DLRP at Halloween for the first time and have heard about this party that occurs after the park has shut (for extra cost) and was wondering what format it takes and also whether it was suitable for 2 and 4 year old children.

BJWJ: The halloween party is amazing - a fantastic atmosphere but very very busy. We have been twice, it usually starts after the park closes at 7pm and then it opens again to party ticket holders. Most party-goers go in costume, and there is entertainment all over the park and most of the rides are open. At the end of the night (about midnight) there is usually a spooky parade and a fireworks show. Your kids may be a bit young at the ages they are now, as some of the spooky characters are quite scary and I cannot stress enough how crowded it gets. It may also be a bit late for them.

Hi Totally Angelic, thanks for the response, I think we will probably give the party a miss because of our children's ages, but if we did want to go where/when can we buy tickets?

I believe you can get your tickets now (50% off for Dream holders) by either booking them as part of a package or guest relations at the park.

I agree, it is a great party but it is VERY CROWDED :scared1: not good for little ones. We went to the 1st two, we dressed the second year as Melanie Ravenwood and the Phantom, waltzed down Main Street and played in the Haunted Mansion in the Portrait Halls - it was great.

The Halloween Fireworks and entertainment it wonderful. This is not a good night for little ones though, it's definately for older people, between the crowds and entertainment. Also, do not go expecting to get on lot's of rides with no wait. This is a party, very busy!!!

Thanks for the info - can't wait. We are going for 4 nights including Halloween Night party! - paid £20 each for these - added them on to our package booked with Disneyland Paris direct. We are going expecting it to be very busy - can't be as bad as Boxing Day last year, surely not :rotfl: Anyway, we are going for the party - the fireworks, entertainment, dressing up etc - the rides are not so important that night - we will do those in the rest of the time we are there.

Are you going to dress up for the Halloween party??

Oh yes - I am wearing my Maleficent outfit which I wore to the Halloween party at WDW a couple of years ago. Don't think the Wicked Queen outfit will fit DD again this time so will have to hunt around. DH probably will wear some 'Halloween' themed shirt - doesnt like to dress up.

my DH has just booked us 3 nights at the Cheyenne for my 40th Birthday! Never been to Disney at Halloween so really looking forward to it:) Unfortunately it's the 7th-10th Oct so no special party for me, but it should be fun anyway with all ther halloween dec's out. Anyone got any photo's from previous year's? (not the special party tho' or will make me :sad1: to see what I'm missing)

We're missing out on the Halloween party too :sad2: but it'll be great just to be there in October! Have a look in the Trip Reports sticky at the top of the page under October 2006 as there are quite a few trippies there. I remember dlpsteve has some excellent photos on his! :)

Check the link in my sig for photos of Halloween decs from last year - they are fantastic and with the added bonus of the 15th Anniversary celebrations I can imagine it will be even better..
