Does anyone have any good ideas for Halloween at WDW? Besides going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, has anyone done anything else that is worth checking out?

Thanks.

It's been 3 years since we were at the VWL for Halloween, and as far as I know the other activites are still the same.

At many resorts the CM's have a jack o lantern competition and the results are very good!

At the hotel, should be activities for the kids during the day. I remember a "decorate your trick or treat bag" project, and a kids parade around the resort around 5PM.

There was trick or treating at DTD on both the 30th and the 31st. The whole event was more elaborate on Halloween itself.

Around the Boardwalk by the shops, near the BW not the Beach or Yacht club there was trick or treating.

Those are the things we did. Our DGC were 2,3 and 4 that year and we didn't think they could handle the MNSSHP.

We're going with them for Halloween next year! They'll be 6, 7 and 8 then!

We stayed at BWV over Halloween in 2008 and they had an great setup for kids with activities, face painting, cookie decoration, a DJ, and trick-or-treating. We'll be at AKV on the 30th and BLT on the 31st. We may try to go back to Boardwalk to see if they have the same stuff or try trick-or-treating at DTD.

Does anyone know of the activities they have at any of the monorail resorts?

It's also my daughter's birthday on the 30th so we're always looking for different birthday ideas.
