Halloween activities at Aulani

Just wondering about how big Halloween is at Aulani ..anyone know? I'm hoping there will be special activities and trick or treating!

Hello,
There are some characters in Halloween costumes. There are some special crafts, for a few. Aunty’s beach house has a Halloween party once a week. There is a free night time party as well. On Halloween there is pumpkin carving and trick or treating.

When we were there, they had pumpkin carving as early as 20 October (with help from Donald in his pumpkin costume), the cel painting was Hallowe'en themed, characters were in costumes, and there were some other themed events in Pau Hana room we didn't attend.

We've done Halloween at Aulani twice. It's not an all out extravaganza. More accurately, we didn't go to Aulani because of Halloween, it's just that Halloween happened to fall during our trip. There isn't anything other than what the folks above mentioned and trick-or-treat is a path through the resort with cast members at various spots (usually 12 total). Takes maybe 20 minutes tops to trick-or-treat.

The first time we went as a family we just had super hero shirts with velcro capes because it's still Hawaii and we still wanted to wear shorts. The second time only our son dressed up. He was in a full ninja turtle outfit and he was sweaty within 10 minutes and begged us to get out of it.
