Halloween 2007

Hi everyone,

Well I can't believe its happened but this year has disappeared so fast and here I am 6 weeks to go before our Halloween trip to DLP and we are totally unprepared! We've never done a Halloween at Disney, so this year we've got tickets to the Halloween Party and we're really looking forward to it. We are unsure what to wear though, I know that people dress up, but is it just the kids that wear fancy dress or do adults dress up as well? Also if they do dress up, is it in Halloween costume or Disney costume and are there any restrictions on what you can or cant wear?

We have been to the last 2 Halloween parties and I am already having withdrawal symptoms in anticipation of missing this next one.
I would say about 75% dress up for the halloween party - and that includes both children and adults. As far as costumes go you get a broad spectrum from simple to very elaborate, some Disney character costumes, some traditional "scary" type halloween character costumes and other movie type costumes. Some people go to a lot of effort and some just put on a cloak and mask, so it's really up to you. This is my group at halloween party 2006:

2007 was slightly different as they didn't have the guests participating in the parade, and the fireworks show was basically wishes to the theme from Pirates of the Caribbean, which was still excellent!

We are also going to the party. I will be going as Maleficent and DD's outfit is still 'work in progress' as I am unsure as to whether her Wicked Queen outfit will still fit her - probably not, I would say.

Here is my trip report from the last Halloween night. I love the Halloween season at DLRP but we won't go again for Halloween night.
Because there were to many people during this week and the last Halloween night was nothing special compared with the ones from the previous years.

Thanks for the help guys, and the brilliant trip reports and photos. We've decided we are definitly going to dress up, now all we've got to do is decide what as. Suggestions anyone.....?

There's only DH and myself so I've only got two costumes to organise. Somehow I don't think I could get DH to dress up in anything too loud so it would have to be quite a simple costume.
