Halloween 2007 Party

I was curious if anyone knew if there was any rhyme or reason as to how they decided which dates they will have the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party each year. We are going to be there October of 2007 and also want to attend Mickey's BBQ (which it appears you can make reservations 365 days out). However, Mickey's BBQ is only on Tuesday and Thursdays and it appears that the Party has fallen on the Thursday during the week we will be there but not Friday. If we wait to make reservations for the BBQ until May when the new dates might come out will we be okay getting reservations or should we do that now?
