Hallmark Christmas in July 🎄 comfort & joy ❤️

NO new Hallmark movies this weekend. Christmas movies will be airing 24/7 through Sunday, Jan 5 on both Hallmark channels, so everyone can catch up on the ones they missed or saved for later.

The first new non-Christmas movie of the new year, Love of the Irish, will be Saturday night, Jan 4, tucked in amongst the Christmas movies.

Then the Golden Girls and the regular non-Christmas programming returns at 2am Jan 6. :sad1:

****not Christmas related My Hallmark facebook page I'm subscribed to is blowing up. The Way Home is premiering season 3 in January but on Hallmark + and will not show on regular Hallmark until the fall of 2025. They left it as a huge cliff hanger and now want to make people pay for the plus channel to see it 10 months earlier. My son pays the cable/internet for his rent so just told him for Christmas, get me the plus for a few months and then cancel after that. (I really don't want more channels)

Good news about The Way Home:

"Where Can You Watch ‘The Way Home’ Season 3?
The new season was initially slated to air exclusively on Hallmark’s streaming service, Hallmark+, but has since changed.
In December, the network announced that “due to overwhelming demand,” The Way Home will air on Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel. New episodes will be available on Hallmark+ the next day. :woohoo:

I bet the new-ish Hallmark CEO, got an earful of complaints when it was announced The Way Home would only stream on a channel most of us have no interest in paying for. We are all sunshine, roses and candy canes until they mess with the TV programming.

They made a second, weird scheduling decision. The Way Home marathon will be on HM&M, not the Hallmark Channel, as they didn't want to mess with airing non-stop Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel.

Schedule:
The marathon for The Way Home, Seasons 1 & 2 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, 2pm - 12am ET, on Dec 31 (Season 1) and Jan 1 (Season 2.)

Then, :teleport: The Way Home, Season 3 will premiere on Friday, Jan 3 at 8pm ET/PT, 7CT on the Hallmark Channel.

I am rewatching The Christmas Note right now. It's the (sort of) sequel to The Christmas Secret that also takes place in Wilsonville. I really like that Gretchen's parents reconnect in this movie and her young son Ethan does a great job. I would recommend watching both movies together.

Didn’t realize that these two movies are connected. Will have to watch for the details next time.

I preferred rewatching a lot of older movies to current choices, dear PollyannaMom. I also found in general I tend to like Hallmark Mystery (maybe smaller)? Movies better than Hallmark movies. Great American Family some, too. I am not a Hallmark Mystery fan any other time of year. It will be fun to see what new movies come.

Today we watched “I Heard the Bells” on the Great American Family. What a nice story….and no commercials!

We didn’t watch many Christmas movies this year, but yesterday we watched Christmas Howlidays on Hallmark…we enjoyed that one too!

Good morning friends, I just shared in the kindness thread that I enjoyed Tis the Season to be Irish. Rose, a house flipper comes to Ireland and falls in love with local Sean a man of many trades including preserving his area's history. I really came to like Mary, Sean's mother and Rose's friends at the Inn where she was staying. There was even an adorable loyal lamb named Lambchop. For a semi different story I would recommend.
