I know you didn't ask, but let me tell you...I really enjoyed the reworked Hall of Presidents. True to Disney standards, it's educational, poignant and emotional. I think our President is represented appropriately and the ******* in our political climate, currently and historically, is acknowledged. The right to choose our Presidents is underscored while the totality of all of Presidents throughout our history lessened the perceived impact of any one leader. At least, that is what my ears heard. The security guards on either side of the theatre were at first unsettling but, as emphasized in the movie, the birth and growth of America hasn't been smooth or easy.

I liked it. I appreciated that the ******* was acknowledged. No one acted up when I saw it last week. It is sad that we have to have a security guard in there, but understandable.

I appreciate your review! I look forward to checking it out next time we're in WDW. It really is too bad about the security guards, but I definitely think it's a wise step on Disney's part given our current cultural climate.

I look forward to seeing this in August -- I've seen plenty of criticism over the new Trump figure and that it doesn't really look like him, best one I heard from a talk show host was that "hey how did Lloyd Bridges from the Airplane movie get up there?" == so I want to see for myself and nevertheless have enjoyed the show for many years no matter who holds the office.

Thank you for this review, it is one we normally skip but based on your description I think I would like to visit this again on our next trip. We've skipped it the last couple times, but I feel we should give it a go in August. So thank you for posting this!

Hall of Presidents was one of the highlights of our trip! We watched it 4 times! (We were there for the very first showing the day it re-opened...we rope dropped it. We are nerds! :faint:)

We just saw the "reboot" in mid-January, and my 10 & 11 year old kids were very excited to see it. I think Disney did an excellent job with the show. It's much more informative, and less scary for the kids. I agree that Donald Trump doesn't look just like himself, but I don't ever remember Barack Obama having a barrel chest. Actually, I think that none of the presidents from the last 40 or so years look like themselves. But, the presidents that I never saw alive - well, they look perfect!

Isn't it the rumor that Disney made the Hillary figure and then made it into Trump?
