Is it going to be open soon or has Disney decided to keep it shut a few more years? Asking for a friend.


I get the political hot potato stuff, but I really just want to know what the plan is with HOP. Seems like it has dropped off the radar and haven’t heard any news lately

Last word was late this year, but I’m not sure about that anymore.

It is supposed to be open by the end of the year, but nothing more specific than that has been announced. It is possible that the date could be pushed further. It is being entirely revamped aside from adding the new president so there was a lot of work going on.

Because it’s rumor and speculation as to when it may open, HoP threads run on the Rumors board. One was running up until today.

On our KTTK tour last month, our guide reported that HoP gets refurbed and updated every 4 or 8 years... and left it at that.
