What's everyone's opinion of this attraction? Should I do it or pass? I've passed for over 20 trips, but now I'm wondering if it's really as boring as people say, or should I see it, it might not be so bad?

To be honest, we really enjoyed it. And we're not the people who typically like this kind of thing all that much. It's a nice break from running around

The Audio-Animatronics are very impressive. You should give it a try. Form your own impressions.

I've always thought every attraction should be tried at least once because everyone is different. You never know what you are going to like and what you are not. Give it a try.

I really like the audio animatronics in HOP. We usually visit this once every 3 or 4 trips. Gets us feeling patriotic all over....(same with the American Adventure at Epcot, which I do like better.)

Our family loved it. I have 2 boys ages 8 and 11 and they loved it. It starts with a patriotic, albeit very smarmy movie, not very long (10 minutes, maybe) than the curtain opens and there are all the prez. Even if you don't listen, the animatronics are truly amazing...breathing, nodding, rocking back and forth....they seem soooo real.

I would at least try it once.....and if you don't care for it, at least you can sit down in a cool environment and relax for a spell.

:hippie: :rotfl:

I enjoy History and I enjoy the show, about every 4 years or so. I like to see the newest president. The period clothing is also interesting to me.

In December we had friends with us who had never been to WDW and this was one attraction that they picked to see. Unfortunately, it isn't opened during MVMCP, so they'll have to go to WDW again to see it!

My history buff DS and I enjoyed seeing and listening to the the various presidents. To me, a few parts were "dry" but overall worth seeing. Unfortunately, after a long, hot August day in the parks my 21 year old DD found the air conditioned setting a little too relaxing and dozed off!

I enjoyed it the first time. Now, I find it a relatively quiet, cool place to take a quick nap. I know that sounds awful, but the show doesn't change from time to time and you can always get in. One of these days, I'm not going to wake up after the show and it will be very embarrassing.

You're right! OK, the Hall of Presidents is now on my agenda for May. Thanks!

I enjoyed it.....it was a nice break from all the running around and the technology involved is amazing.

I dont know that I liked it all that well, but it was interesting and I wanted to at least try it once.. However I will say it is a nice place to rest on a hot day..

I love the Hall of Presidents! I never miss it and I always enjoy it. It fascinates me that Walt Disney was so far ahead of his time with animatronic figures. I love watching the President's too and I think the theatre is really cool. If you've never seen it, I definitely recommend seeing it at least once! :thumbsup2

If you love the USA you will love it there.

I'll wake you if you wake me!!!!

The film is a bit of a snoozer. There is a cool part at the very, very end (the launch) where if you watch the door on the building flapping in the wind you can see it get sucked off and blow across the screen.

I like the Presidents part a lot. Just gotta sit through that boring film first.
:goodvibes

It's worth seeing at least once. And it is real cool and quiet in there. On our first trip to the World, my cousin's 7 year old insisted that we visit this attraction. I could not figure out why? Months later she confessed that she thought it was a big "hall" that you walked down and the AA figures shook your hand, etc. She has not wanted to go back since. Kids, you gota love them!

It's toooooo DANG cold in there. It's like a meat locker. I would like to see it again (my DD's have never seen it) but we would need parkas to sit through it.

I think it's a great place for an afternoon break from the sun. My DD14/DS8 are really excited to see it this year because they have been working on memorizing all the presidents.

My DH and I thought it was BORING!!! We went in December and couldn't wait to get out of there.

The big joke last week was, "We could go see the Hall of Presidents" the answer was always a big NO!!!

Obviously some people like it, but we were not among them...
