Shakira was absolutely amazing. That girl can dance. She won me over last night.

JLo? Well, let's just say she looked like she was having a mid life crisis. I honestly expected her to be better. Perhaps because she was sharing a stage with someone that had talent?

Honestly, I was embarrassed and stopped watching. Maybe I just don't have much experience with concerts, but after all the talk I heard about empowering women, they couldn't sing without making it all about...well, something not DIS appropriate??

The stripper pole was absolutely unnecessary. As were the children in cages. Let's simulate a striptease and somehow tie in children in cages. Look caged children! Look at how I can grind! That was very weird.

It was an amazing halftime show. Half time shows have sucked lately. This one will go down as one of the best.

Janet’s nipple was 16 years ago. A lot has changed since then. I don’t think it would be seen as scandalous or negative today.
Just newsworthy. Lol.

I thought it was great. I’m 43, the same age as Shakira and I can’t get over how good she and Jlo (50 yo) look and can perform at their ages. Ugh back to my diet.

I walked away from the tv during Shakira, came back and watched until JLo was on the pole and left the room again. Totally not my style of "entertainment". Everybody has their own opinion, this is mine. Did not like it at all.

Worst. Show. Ever. Hopefully next year, they'll have far better taste when selecting the performers.

It wasn’t my taste in music for the most part but I didn’t find it bad either. They are both very talented and entertaining. I prefer a show with dancing rather than just someone standing and singing.
I also enjoyed her daughter coming out to sing.

I’ve never been a JLo fan. I think she’s a great performer, but she can’t sing. She’s totally overrated. On the other hand, I absolutely adore Shakira, think she’s incredibly talented, but she lip-synched!

The belly dancing and booty popping...Fine. The pole . But I guess JLo has to keep repping the one decent movie she’s ever made.
I loved that her daughter was included though. What a wonderful experience and memory for her to have!
