half price restaurant gift certs

I have been looking at these as well, and was putting off purchasing Baskerville certs at half price. Now Baskervilles doesn't participate any more. Also was looking at Ronnie's steakhouse, but I heard they are on of the most expensive steakhouses there. Out of the other certs available, do you know which places are in close proximity to WDW? I would hate to buy them and not use them cause the place is too far or out of the way.

I have also bought these same certs on eBay from the company..and gotten them for less. YOu also get them instantly. You should iknow you can't use them for tax or tip per what it says on the cert.

I've used them for restaurants here in Chicago with no problem. I try to get them on eBay - you can sometimes get them a little less than half-price and any savings helps. Ronnie's Steakhouse (in Orlando) is definitely expensive so the $25 would be little more than a drop in the bucket and you're limited to 1 gift certificate per visit.

Have been to Ronnies - Won't go again! It is very expensive and a la cart - right down to $$ for blue cheese on your salad. We went there one night after a full day at Universal. We were really in the mood for a good steak and didn't get scared by the prices. DH ordered a TBone cooked black and blue (rare on the inside, charred on the outside) and quizzed the waiter that the chef could do this. When it arrived, it was med rare and not charred. He sent it back and they just cooked it more and sent it out to him med well. He told the waited forget it (but this time, I was almost done with my steak) and from then on we were ignored for the rest of the meal. They did comp his steak (I think is was well over $30) but I feel they should have comped the salad and a drink too. Then add to it, they had the gall to add on a 18% gratuity. I waitressed for years, so I know they did this so we wouldn't blame the waiter, but this really upset me. I feel that if a place charges such that dinner to two is likely to run over $100 sans cocktails, then they either get it right or comp the whole thing.
