Half Orders - Apps or Entrees

Hi Does anyone know if they will let you do a half order of Apps or Entrees.. I ask cause I am traveling as a solo and will have no place to store leftovers and I don't want to be wasteful (of my money or food) Thanks Michelle

Rusty is correct thou, ive never seen a place do half orders. You might wanna stick with appetizers or even try a kids meal. I think i ordered a kids meal at a restaurant once. LOL!

Il Mulino, at the Swan resort, will do half orders if you ask. Can't say if they'll do it for every menu item but they will do it for at least some of the pasta dishes.

To my knowledge, that's it. Can't hurt to ask but unless it's Il Mulino you shouldn't expect it.

When I was dining solo at the Flying Fish once I ordered the mussels appetizer and the server asked if I wanted a half serving because it was a large portion. I''m glad I took the half size because that was my first time doing mussels and I really didn't care for them.
