Half Marathon Weekend

I will be going to DL to participate in the half over Labor Day weekend. Will be staying at the DL Hotel. It's a short trip so I'll only have a 2 day PH. Plan on going into the parks on Saturday and Monday. Should I take advantage of EMH and go into DL on Saturday and DCA on Monday or go into the park that doesn't have EMH that day? My DD, who will be 5 1/2 months pregnant, will be with me so she won't be able to ride several rides. Thanks!

We are going from Fri - Sun and getting to get there early enought to take advantage of EE for DCA on Fri because it will be a nightmare once general admision is let in. I would recommend at least doing Mon at DCA to get on RSR and Luigi's without much of a wait. Maybe let your DD sleep in on Mon while you do Carsland. She might appreciate that more than being in the parks ealy. We are not going into the parks on Sat, so I haven't given that day much thought.

Unless things change from last year, there won't be an EMA on Sat. b/c of the 5k. They haven't posted the course yet, but the past couple of years it's finished in DCA. I would double check when you check in. Another tip for getting there Sat. - if the race does end in DCA get to the security check point earlier than planned. B/c they have to check the back of the course and clean it up a bit there have been loooooonnnngg lines at the check point w/ runners and people trying to go to the parks b/c the promenade isn't open early like it usually is. But like the OP said, I'd try to do EMA to DCA on Mon before it gets crowded.
