Half board set menus

Well the time has come to begin planning (properly!) for our June trip

I'm looking at buying half board vouchers mainly as due to just my DH working at the moment it would help to get it all paid beforehand and not have to worry about budgeting for meals once we're there.

I have looked at the menus for where we intend on eating (Cafe Mickey, Steakhouse, Blue Lagoon and Walts - not that I'm organised or anything!! ) and it seems cheaper or roughly the same to get the HB vouchers than it would be to use a shareholders discount (and I'm not a shareholder yet) which seems more of saving than I'd thought.

So I just want to check... which menus do you order off of when you're HB? is it the usual Set Menus or is there special HB menus that you can only view once you're there?

We are off in June too and that was going to be one of my next 'work outs' as i am a share holder and which would work out best, i need to get a good update of meal cost at a lot of places then there is the drink add ons.

I went by the prices on Magical Kingdoms so hope they're pretty up to date! I made it £314 with shareholder discount or £304 HB Plus for our meals. Not much in it so think I might hold off buying shares and do that instead. As much as I'd love the other perks to the Shareholders club I have to think budget wise unfortunately!
