Hi guys

Trying to work out for out next DLP visit whether to take the Half Board option for the first time.

I've read Cafe Mickey can be used on this , not eaten there before but also "heard" that some of the buffets can be used?

Anyone sampled any Buffets on the Meal Plan and can recomend them? Not too fussy on food and will eat or try anything once :)

For the cost of the plan we would normally have a quick service meal for lunch plus an Earl of Sandwich in the evening so i'm kinda torn whether to try something new or not.

You might be better asking on the DLRP board.

I remember someone once a few years ago did the half board plan and said it wasn't good value and there was limited options.

I haven't tried Cafe Mickey, but i plan to when i go in Jan. I go Half Board all the time and think it is great value for money, i should point out that i only ever stay in Sequoia Lodge and use their 2 restaurants, what the other hotel restaurants are like i can't comment on. For myself with 3 children it's £300 for 4 nights meals which is about £18 each. If you factor that against some of the more expensive resturants you do save quite a bit.

I haven't had half board vouchers since 2008, because since then, I just don't think they save you much, if any, money (possibly the cost of an adult's soft drink over just paying for your meal at the time).

They don't cover your counter service meal, only a table/buffet service meal, and it certainly won't be as inexpensive as have EOS meals ;).
