Hakuna Kidani, What a Turtleful Phrase!

Mingo Zack. I love it!

What a fun time at the pool and I've loved reading about Jill's trip, some VERY interesting moments to be sure and what a special thing for them.

Congratulations on Princess Hadley! Love love love the name.

Congrats on the new grand baby! Hadley is such a pretty name.
Love your AKL pictures. I just posted some on my TR, too.
I'm almost caught up on your TR. Vero looks like so much fun. I saw it for the first time last month on my way home from Disney. We took a short trip to tour the college I'm going to and we obviously had to stop on Disney property on our way home. :)

I remember Donna Parker books. I read them all. I loved the Maud Hart Lovelace books also, especially the Betsy series.

:woohoo::woohoo::woohoo: another Princess to join a marvelous family. Congrats to all!

I love your walking tour of AKL...it truly is a beautiful resort (and can't wait to stay there again in seven months).

We are trying Jiko for the first time during our December trip while the young ones go to Simba's for some kid fun.

Loving all the Jambo pictures. Can't wait until I see it again in person. You really got some lovely shots. My favorite time in the resorts is while everyone is still sleeping. So peaceful.

Just a quick check-in to let you know that our newest addition is another sweet girl. Her name will be Hadley. Brooklynn is thrilled to finally get a girl cousin! Will share more later. It's been along day, and it is time for some sleep.

I must have missed the announcement that Trent and Brandi are expecting! How exciting though!!! Doesn't look like you'll be buying any non princess stuff for quite a while, but I'm sure you're overjoyed.

Oh, how your pictures are bringing back memories. I LOVE Animal Kingdom Lodge. We haven't stayed at Kidani yet. We have always stayed at Jambo House. I love the morning walks around there. This time next week, we'll be waking up at POP from a fun night at our first MNSSHP. For the many times that we have been there, can you believe this will be our first. I have to finish making our family costumes for it tonight. I can't wait to see what Trent and Brandi will be having. I'm on pins and needles here.

MNSSHP is fantastic!!! :cool1:

I think we prefer Jambo for the gift shop and food court, but Kidani was better with the view we had and having the full kitchen. We love them both!

I look forward to Disney pictures to keep me smiling until December! :thumbsup2

Man I love AKL! Enjoyed the pictures of that gorgeous lobby this morning. Can't wait to see if Brandi and Trent are having a pirate: or a princess: !

Well, I guessed pirate, but this little girl fooled me. ;)

See what happens when you aren't on the DIS much. You come back to find that Trent is going to be a Daddy! Congratulations to your family. Such exciting news.

Thanks. It was an exciting weekend for my bunch. :goodvibes

Love the early morning stroll. Beautiful resort!

I asked the boys where they want to eat in May & Boma is on the list for dinner. Always had a great meal there.

We need to do a Boma breakfast. ::yes::

I love all the AKL pictures, they make me want to stay there on my next trip to DW.

AKL ranks in my top three resorts, no doubt.

Congratulations on the new Princess Hadley.

Thanks. She'll get her first Disney trip in a couple of months. :earsgirl:

Congratulations on Princess Hadley! Love love love the name.

Mingo Zack is a crazy man. His daughter is going to have a crazy life.

I am glad Jill and Brooklynn got to take their special trip. Bella looks forward to her turn. In her words, "When I am six or older, I get to go with Mommy by myself." :cutie: If she stays like she is now, she will be a pure joy to spend alone time with.

Hadley's middle name is Dean, which is a family name on Brandi's side. We have a little boy cousin named Dean, too, but that's just coincidence.

Congrats on the new grand baby! Hadley is such a pretty name.

Anywhere you go in Florida, finding a little touch of Disney should be easy enough. :thumbsup2

I have not had much DIS time lately. I will come visit your report in the next few days, hopefully. This next ten days = crunch time for me at school.

Congratulations on your newest princess

Woohoo, another princess! I love the name they chose.

Congrats!! Hadley is such a beautiful name! What an exciting day!

Congratulations! Welcome Future Princess!

Thanks, everyone, for the good thoughts. The newest princess is Hadley Dean. I think Brandi just chose Hadley out of a book, and Dean is a family name on her side. I pray that Brandi and the baby will stay healthy, that it will be an easy pregnancy and delivery, and that Hadley will come out pink and screaming and ready to take on this big old world. I had in my mind that it was a boy, so it is taking me some time to wrap my mind around the girl news. Without really thinking about it, it seemed that my body was walking me to boy clothes when I would go in a store, but apparently my intuition was wrong. It's pink again, for us, and we are just thrilled. Another girl to add to girl trips. A girl cousin for Brooklynn, who has very much wanted one. A niece for Jill to spoil. A bundle of happiness to melt Trent's heart every time he walks in the door from a hard day at work. A first grandanything for Brandi's parents. Her mom is over the moon. I think her dad may be a little overwhelmed.

Loving all the Jambo pictures. Can't wait until I see it again in person. You really got some lovely shots. My favorite time in the resorts is while everyone is still sleeping. So peaceful.

It is nice to walk around in the quiet of a Disney morning and watch a resort slowly come to life. :)

I guess that makes you old, like me.

Have a good week MeMom. I am going to try & mail your box of books this am but Jeff is having a procedure done for his kidney stone & then I am heading to my conference until Wed. If I do not get it mailed this am it will be Wed. afternoon when I get back. It is all ready to go so just a matter of getting it mailed.

So excited for your family to be welcoming another princess! princess: I am partial to girls myself - I wanted girls so badly I wouldn't look at anything blue until the ultrasound confirmed they were both girls. I was afraid browsing the boys section would somehow jinx me!

Kidani vs. Jambo is a hard one :confused3 I love Mara so that pushes me towards Jambo, plus the lobby and gift shop. But the pool and water play area at Kidani can't be beat! When we book AK I always hope for Jambo but I'm happy where ever we end up. We're fortunate to have tried both places.

You sure don't get many princes in your family do you. :lmao:

Like the name of the newest princess to be.

Princess Hadley is a beautiful name. I know she will melt Trent's heart from the moment he sees her. Congrats on another Disney Princess.

Congratulations for the new little girl! I wanted a little girl so much, but all I could get was four boys! I do have two granddaughters, but they live a long distance from us.

I just love AKL, we have stayed there for our last two trips. It's my DH's favorite resort thus far.

This is big time crunch time. Eval paperwork has to be turned in Monday, and the observation is Tuesday. After that, I can breathe easier, for sure!

Don't go out of your way. It's nice for you give us those, and they will be put to good use. Whenever they come, it will be great!

I found myself walking to the boys' sections in stores, so I was thinking it was a boy. I'm pretty sure I'll be happy with this little girl, though. ;)

You can't go wrong at either part of AKL. I do like that fireplace at Jambo, though, and the aroma as you head toward Boma. I think Jambo has the edge for me.

You sure don't get many princes in your family do you. :lmao:

Like the name of the newest princess to be.

I guess God thought Brandi needed some help with Trent. Now it's two girl votes to one in that household, which is probably a good thing. ::yes::

She will do that, I am positive.

I think they want two children, so maybe God will see fit to let them raise a daughter and a son in time.

Just wanted to pop in, say hi and hope you're having a great day! 10 weeks from today we'll be ringing in the New Year at the Poly! :cool1: :dance3: :yay: :cheer2:

Hi Everyone. I am here at POP Century now. Quick conference trip until Sat. Just wanted to share what the CM checking me in said. This next week they are doing away with keyto the world cards. That this will be my very last one makes me a little sad. I asked what about guests who stay off property and he said the fast pass machines are being removed with this next step and from now on only disney property guests will have fastpasses through the fastpass plus system. He said this just was announced to the CMs. Maybe in the future they will sell fastpasses like universal does but that has not been announced yet. That's all my gossip. Now off to Fantasmic. :)
