I loved the pictures of the tired little girls. I'm so happy the animals came out to bid you goodbye. Your breakfast looked like the perfect way to say your farewells to Disney. I never want to leave Disney. My bottom lip is usually very close to hitting the floor when it's time to leave.

I know you're days away from your next trip. I hope y'all have a blast and I can't wait to read about it and see the pictures.

Some times I do better than others at leaving - different lengths of time stayed, different levels of tiredness, and whatever school craziness I am returning to all play a part. A big part of my sadness also comes not just from leaving WDW, but from knowing that I don't get to be around the girls every day when we all get back to our homes.

I will be starting my packing tomorrow. ::yes::

A short stop at the pin board outside Cape May.

Feast your eyes upon this beautiful sight.

I love this area!

Jill's bunch stayed to sit on the beach for a few minutes while I hobbled up the sidewalk and into Epcot to get a peek of the new ice cream shop in France.

I snapped a few shots along the way.

All for nuttin'. They were not open yet.

Back to Beach Club.

Into the lobby.

Where to next???

I don't know, where?

Don't pretend. You knew
we
were going

shopping!!! :dance3:

**********************************************

At Beach Club Marketplace.

Turtles 'til the end!

I don't really care for popcorn - maybe once a year for something different - but this is packaged in a cute way.

Practical, fun gifts.

Sugar.

The girls like to bring back sweet goodies for their friends.

That's all the shopping, declansdad. That wasn't too bad, was it? We just browsed for a few minutes.

Artist of the Day board.

And now I will take you to my solarium.
Well, I wish it belonged to me, that is.

I love this room!

I might change some of the upholstery patterns, but I love the seating areas and the bright, open room.

Okay, that's it for tonight. More tomorrow, when instead of being in school, I will be at home. :goodvibes

I will be stepping foot in that solarium in just 6 more sleeps. :goodvibes

I have eaten breakfast in that room a while ago but sadly have been rushing through the last couple of trips. I need to change that. Hopefully this trip midday breaks can be spent in that room.

You lucky girl! I feel so fortunate to have stayed there one time - thanks to the kindness of Anita and Marc, and I will continue to enjoy visiting there forever, I hope. There was a time I was sitting in that beautiful place eating my PBJ sandwich just as happy as any rich person. ;)

Fun shopping! I do like the Beach Club marketplace; we'll be at BC on the 1st, having lunch at Beaches and Cream, so perhaps we'll poke our heads in the marketplace and see if there's anything we just can't live without. :lmao:

I hope you have a great week! As I was getting ready for work this morning, I was having happy "at this time next week" thoughts. :cool1: Our December 30th is going to consist of a morning at HS, lunch there, and then probably back to Pop for some pool time before we meet home friends for dinner that night.

Can't wait to see you! Wouldn't it be cool if we were in the same area at Pop?! I think I requested either the 50s or 90s section. I think. :rotfl: My brain is complete mush right now. I have never felt this unprepared for a trip; but the good thing is, we don't leave until Sunday so I have all day Saturday to pack, make my lists, etc. :goodvibes

Wow! I was a little behind, and here you are at the last day of the trip. Thank goodness the next one is just DAYS away!! I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a MAGICAL trip! I am feeling the pangs of missing the decorations and festivities of WDW a lot this year. It's been 4 years since we went in December. I hope we can do it again in the next two years.

But we only have a short 74 days until our trip to Disneyland! I guess that will make it easier!

We've enjoyed eating our breakfast from the marketplace in your solarium. It's beautiful, and thanks for the hospitality!

By the way - you are one of the richest people I know. It isn't about money, honey. You have so many gifts, and a wonderful family and I appreciate you sharing it all with us! I believe if you had lots of money, you'd probably give most of it away to make others happy anyway. Bless you this Christmas!

Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you all have a blessed and wonderful Christmas. :santa:

I have started packing for the trip and of course, the crossbody bag that I want to bring is in a box, somewhere. However, silver lining: I had been wanting one of the Disney Vera Bradley bags, and so I could buy that when we arrive on Sunday and then have my parks bag. :woohoo: Ahh, justifying shopping. But I will have Christmas money from my grandparents, so I can tell them they bought me a new purse. :thumbsup2

More great pictures, Caren. I love the Solarium (even if I didn't particularly care for the rest of the Beach Club). I could sit there and chill for hours.

I want to wish you, Jill, and ALL of your beautiful family, a very

Hey there, DIS college girl! I am glad you are happy and busy at school. I saw a picture of you on FB - I guess it was your Thanksgiving get-together, maybe.

We will just miss you, if you arrive on the 5th. We are leaving on the 4th. If you can tough it out through the winter, spring break is FABULOUS!!!! :cool1:

I finally have time to reply  We've had a crazy few weeks. Yes, that picture was from Thanksgiving. The day after that, my grandma fell at home and went to the hospital. Luckily she didn't get seriously hurt, but she was transferred to a nursing home/rehab to strengthen her legs so she wouldn't fall again. It's really not safe for her to live alone anymore, so we're setting up home care so she can still live in her house. I love my grandma, but she's extremely stubborn and can be hard to get along with on a normal day, so this hasn't been a fun few weeks. She's not happy about any of this, and she's making sure we all know that :rolleyes1 We're checking her out for the day tomorrow. We also found out at the last minute that Christmas is at our house, so we've been doing errands and cleaning basically non-stop since Saturday :faint:

In the middle of all of this, I had finals and three papers to write. I spent a lot of time highlighting research articles in the hospital and making flash cards in the nursing home. I have no idea how I did it, but I got everything done :worship:

Obviously with everything going on, our January trip is definitely not happening. The new plan is May, after I finish the spring semester. I won't have my exam schedule for a while so we don't have official dates yet. We could've done spring break, but we have a whole list of reasons why May works better, even though it's farther away.

I probably won't have a chance to get online tomorrow, so I'll say it now; Merry Christmas to my DIS friends :santa: :goodvibes

Memom and family and all of Distown, hope everyone had a great Christmas!!! I also hope everyone that has been feeling a bit under the weather is on the mend!!! I hope to see some of y'all real soon!!:) Safe travels to everyone travelling!!

Gorgeous pics as usual.

Merry Christmas!

Finally have some DIS time to catch up on reports, so I just read the stuff about the meet at DTD! Thanks for making it such a friendly atmosphere and welcoming Howard and me into the group. I was nervous about it because I didn't know anyone and honestly don't do so well with social situations being the introvert that I am, but I'm so happy that I didn't pass up on the opportunity to see everyone! It's funny that it's really only in Disney that you can have a group of people who are strangers meet each other and be able to get along!

Merry Christmas! Hope you had a great day.

Have you started packing yet? I have not, which is so weird for me. :upsidedow

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I hope your trip will be wonderful! I'll be following along on FB if any of you get time to post. :thumbsup2

I just saw on FB that you are feeling very sick. NOT good before you leave on your trip. Feel better quick! I wanted to make sure I got on here before you left to wish you all safe travels and a Very Happy New Year at WDW! :cheer2::cheer2:

We have been having nice warm temps here (70's/80's). Nice and warm, but not very Christmasy. My DD, back from college in MN, is loving the nice warm weather. I hope the weather stays nice in FL so that you can enjoy the warm weather too! And the girls can get plenty of pool time. :beach:

As I said before, my DD's wanted to go DL for their 19th & 21st bdays, but I didn't know if we could afford it. Well I got lucky and someone heard my name on the radio for Disney tickets. They didn't have my number but put a group text out to all my friends, and I called in and WON!! :cool1::cool1:

It was only a 1 Day/1 Park, so we had to pick a park and my DD LOVES Carsland so CA Adventure it was. So I got my Disney fix after all! Makes me so happy to spend the day at my happy place with my family. Definitely made my Christmas. It was hard looking at the entrance to DL and not going in, but I survived. :thumbsup2 Now, I can look at your pictures again and not get sad.

Once again....FEEL BETTER, and have a safe fun-filled trip!:cool1::cool1:
