Hairbraiding

We are going on the 7-day Western in March. So, where is the cheapest place to get my DD8 hair braided? I was thinking Cozumel?? I visit Acapulco all the time and we pay about $30 for the whole head but I have heard $1 per braid, etc. What should I expect?

I had mine done 2 weeks ago...just the front at Paradise Beach in Cozumel and I paid $20. Last year I had it done in St Maarten and paid 38.00 or so and it was done much tighter and lasted longer. They did good in Cozumel...just not as tight.

Last February we had dd5 hair done in cozumel. The braids were 28$ for the head. SHe has had them done a total of 3 times thus far, and the ones done on the ship (although not the cheapest) were the ones that lasted the longest, and were the least painful to her. She has a very sensitive head, and trust me the ladies on the ship were the most leniant on her. THey also allowed me to bring my own comb.

depomas-- how much did you pay for the ones on the ship?? I am leaving in 9 days and was really thinking about getting my whole head braided. Is there a difference in price if you want cornrows or regular braids?? Thanks Kriso

I am leaning towards 38$ plus tip.. Husband says more like 42$, but it is close.
Regardless, I would only do this on the ship from here on in...

Just my 2 cents..

I think (eeps not sure) cornrows are a dollar cheaper each one...
