Hair!

This is my dream hair... there was a better picture when she was wearing it down but I can't find it.

My hair is naturally curly and I straighten it every day. I can never get the curls to just relax. I wish :sad2:

Well since I'm into hair but it's also something EVERYONE can talk about, why not a hair thread? Post styles you like or hate. on anyone. Could be you even. Actors. Whatever!

Not really in love with Jessica Simpson, but I like this simple hairstyle.

If this thread is weird I apologize. But it should be fun!
kdm, why don't you move to Hollywood and be a celebrity hair stylist to the stars! :)

Anyone think my sis was a better brunette btw? Not to bug but I'm itching to know if anyone else dislikes brown to blonde conversions!

She is fortunate to be able to go both colors and look good!!! I would love to go brown but I am way too pale to do that. Also, I prefer the picture of her with no bangs. Again, she can carry off both looks though. She's lucky!!!

I am currently growing my hair out to donate to Locks Of Love. Normally I have a chin-length bob and it'd been about 10 years since I had long hair. I am actually enjoying the longer hair but mine definately needs frequent trims to look decent, so it's taking forever. My hair is about 16 inches now. I'm not in any hurry to get it whacked off. I may get some layers and light brown color. Have some fun with it before I cut it. I like the picture of Reese's hair.

Eh, I still beg my sis to go brown again!

At least her layers and length look good now. That 2001 pic I guess is kinda just a long, outdated, no layer style.

I'll be the first to admit I am not the most stylish and knowledgeable person when it comes to hair. :teeth:

OT kdm, does your avatar have anything to do with Sky High and Zach?

I agree with much of you said - except this.

If you dont trip it along the way, youre going to end up with long, unkept, frizzy haiy - ESPECIALLY if its colored or heat styled "along the way"

You need to trim your hair - growing it out, or not.

I agree with Cathryn on this...if you have split ends, they can continue to split right up the hair shaft...I recommend for my customers that have chemical services a trim every 8 weeks and for virgin hair every 12 weeks. And this is also taking just the minimum off as well...

Well, I had posted my picture and nobody suggested trimming it but just to be sure:

Should this be trimmed yet? I don't think it's close enough to long to trim it up already. I should wait several more inches!

You'll notice that you might need a trim when it starts getting a little fuzzy (usually in the back first), but looks good so far!

So, I have a quick question.....

Are bangs back in style now? I've been kind of itching to have some sideswept bangs cut, but not sure if that would be okay. Opinions on this?

My avatar is just...me...being weird with lights. LOL. No particular reference.

Shocked to hear you liked Amy (my sister) as a blonde! Arrgh, oh well. She is probably going to dye it darker soon because she said it's starting to look nasty and too blonde.
