Alot of people post about getting hair wraps done.

I bought the Klutz book on hair wraps (here's a link to show the book and a review

http://www.hairboutique.com/books/bookreview087.htm

It's not that hard.......I just did it on my dd and a friend, and they turned out pretty good. I did the basic wrap, but I'm going to try something fancier next. I assumed they'd probably fall out right away, because the ties at the end are the hardest part, but they haven't fell out yet!

Just a thought for people considering paying alot of money. The thread/yarn is just embroidery floss.....available at any craft store.

We did the wraps at AK our last trip.....PRICEY! How long did it take you to do the at home wraps?

it went quite fast. maybe 10 minutes (tops) to measure out the floss, and maybe 15-20 minutes to do the wrap.

I did the basic wrap, with no beads or charms, to try it out. The first one I did wasn't bad, and is still in the girls hair, looking good, and I did it on Monday (it's Saturday now)

The second one I did (the same day) looks really really good. I mean, it looks like what you would get done somewhere. Just having done one, made all the difference.

I have to take out my dd's today, because she is performing in a parade tomorrow. I'll do hers again on Monday, but she'll have to take it out for a competition, then I plan to do a real fancy one for WDW in August.

BTW, I bought the book at our local craft store (Michaels) with a 40% off coupon. That made it a real bargain. My daughters wrap is 10 inches long, just FYI
