Just wondering about the current prices for hair wraps around the resorts - specifically Beach Club, but I'm thinking they might be the same around the property

Thanks!

My daughter and her friends had theirs done last year at the BC and it was $3 per inch, which wasn't tooo bad. BUT then you add on all those cute beads and it adds up. They do it there and over at the board walk and in case you missed those places there is always the Animal Kingdom. What a great way to pass the time waiting for the parade!!

We just returned from WDW two weeks ago. My daughter got a hair wrap at the Boardwalk and it was $1.50 an inch, plus the price of beads. They do the wraps from 5pm - 10pm everyday at the Boardwalk and from 10am-5pm Sat and Sun at the Beach Club. We stayed at the Yacht Club so we went to the Beach Club stand but it started to rain and even though the not very pleasant CM doing the wraps was under a BIG umbrella she packed up shop and left my six year old daughter in tears!!!! Anyhow, we ended up going across to the Boardwalk, got a nicer CM and ended up with a $36.00 hairwrap. She loves it and it is staying in well.

My daughter had hers done at the GF the last week in June at $1.50 an inch. With beads it came to $25 and is still in!

1. I don't actually know the price of hair wraps at the Beach Club, but I do know this: there's no real reason to compare BC prices vs. Typhoon Lagoon prices, etc. Disney prices identical items the same everywhere. So if you see a certain tee-shirt at the Magic Kingdom, it's going to cost the same thing at Downtown Disney.

2. When we were at Wilderness Lodge a few weeks ago, I saw something that looked BETTER than the hair wraps: it was a pre-made hair wrap thingy with a clip at the top. It looked just like a hair wrap. They sold for $20 (no surprises at the end of the hair session!), and the girl could just clip it onto a small braid. I thought it looked much more practical than a hair wrap because it would last a long, long time.

Thanks to you all for the information. Looks like the price either went down from $3 to $1.50 or there are differences.

And thanks for letting me know how long they have lasted. I forgot to ask that! :-)
