Teen DDs would like to try this. Anyone have an experience with this product, or others?

Just read this on line:

There are a slew of hair-volumizing products to make your hair appear thicker. One to try: Living Proof Full Thickening Cream, $14, which bulks up individual strands so hair also feels thicker.

I guess I'm cynical about some claims products have so would love your thoughts or other suggestions before I spend $14 :)

I personally love Living Proof Full, and I think it works the best out of any volumizing product I've ever tried. After using it, my hair actually looks fuller, and feels bouncier and very soft. You have to be careful not to use too much or it will feel sticky, but after a couple of tries, I've finally found the right amount for my hair. $14 is pricey, and that is only for the small bottle; a large bottle is $24. But, I think it works, and since you don't use much, it lasts a while. I love all of Living Proof products, because for the most part they do exactly what they say they do, and I'm willing to spend a little bit more for them.

I just tried a sample of this & liked it. I will be buying it.

I'm a big fan of Redken Guts. It's like a spray mousse, but dang! it gives you volume. I'm pretty sure you can buy small "trial size" cans for about $3 at Ulta :thumbsup2

Hi

Frederic Fekkai has a thickening line - I think it's called "Full Volume".

I have tried the shampoo and conditioner and my hair does seem fuller/thicker when I use it.

I'm sure there are also styling products too.

The Shampoo and Conditioner were about $22 each for 8oz.

Enjoy

What stores carry this line? I have baby fine hair, and have never found a decent volumizing product.

Living Proof is a fairly young company based in Cambridge MA. My niece, a graduate in chemical engineering from Northeastern, is a chemist for this company. the product she is currently working on will be released in June! It is cool to see people talking about this company. Their products are great. Become a fan on facebook to keep up with the latest developments!!!

:rolleyes1

Where did you get your sample? I'd like to try it without spending the $14 first if it doesn't work. I may also go by Ulta to see if I can try the Redkin Guts in a $3 small size. My hair is impossibly baby fine and thin, and I've never found anything that has really made a difference in the volume in my hair yet.

Sephora will be happy to make you a sample. They also have a pretty liberal return policy there so you can always get it and if it's not good, take it back.

Thanks! :goodvibes That's good to know about Sephora, I haven't shopped there in a while but it may just be worth the trip!
