Hair Straightening Iron Suggestions?

Does anyone have the Sally's Chi knock off? I wonder how it is?

I bought one about six months ago, it was about $50 on sale. I decided to try it because they told me that you can try it out and if you dont lkike it, you have sixty days to return it! I like that you can control the temperature on it, the CHI got too hot and damaged my hair. I use it on about 310 and works great for my hair (medium-thick, slightly wavy)

Anyone ever use th CHI air pro damp to dry straightener? Dd uses my regular CHI but some mornings she runs late and can't straighten her har because its still a little damp, thought this may work for her. Its $85 on Overstock.
She has asked for the In-styler and Target has it and next week you get a$15 GC with it so it wold be the same price.

Chi flat irons are expensive, but they are well worth it. They have a one year warranty, but they will also fix it for a really reasonable price after that year is up.

My insane yorkie (that's another story) chewed my chi cord in half:sad2:. I called the company and they said to send it in w/ a check for $30 since my warranty was up and they'd take care of it. I got a brand new chi flat iron in the mail a week later! They said they were unable to repair the cord and if they cannot fix it they replace it.

That being said, I've had this second chi for 3 years. That kind of service is worth it. If you buy a junk flat iron you may end up replacing it every year or so.
