Hair ideas.

This isn't about the 'cut' of hair like other threads, this is just style questions. How do you usually do your hair? Have you come across any good websites with tutorials on different hair styles?

I usually put my hair in a ponytail, so recently (when I leave my hair curly) I've started doing this cute side braid thing. It jazzes up the regular ponytail a little, and it's even a little Greek inspired.

Any ideas?

My hair is never up.

I usually have my bangs braided to the side, or pinned to the side, or twisted to the side.

I think it is sooo cute if you do a french braid where your bangs are really loose. Everyone wears french braids in their hair where I live. the are so adorable. they're kinda hard at first, but practice makes perfect right?! when in doubt, just throw in a french braid. voila! that's my philosophy

Short, curly hair does NOT work on a diamond shape face, so I usually straighten my hair. All I can do is keep taking my vitamins until it's longer.

Usually I straighten it, then I'll throw it back in a ponytail (which is only about an inch long, lol, but I take what I can get) pin the rest back, and keep my side bangs. I usually part it so the bangs flow to the left, or sometimes I'll keep them straight. Sometimes I'll be adventurous and part it to the right. Other times I'll just wash and go, just pin my bangs back into a quiff/boufant/whatever.

Yes, I'm talking about the side french braid thing. Sometimes I just twist it if I'm being lazy, or just braid a part regularly and pin it to the side (same effect).

It's really cute, and I guess a lot of people are doing it around here.

Almost everyone braids their bangs here, but it's so gosh darn cute on everyone!

I wish I could do french braid pigtails =(

I do absolutely nothing to my hair ): I just kind of wake up and run my fingers through it. I wake up so late that I never have time to fix it or anything. I don't even really brush it ever.. like, when I condition it all the tangles come out, its not like I have a huge knot in my hair, but I never actually comb or brush it.

I sometimes straighten it, but only when I wake up early which is about once every two or three months.

So yeah, Im absolutely no help at all, sorry.

i can't put my hair up. its too short. its kinda like a fro, to be honest. its so curly and its been cut layered and it kinda poofs all the way around my head. i have big bouncy curls, so it looks nice. i like it a lot

What I do when I don't have alot of time if I get out of the shower bundle all my hair up into a big messy bun type thing and just clip it low to my head.
I usually let a few pieces fall out and I straighten my bangs or they look horrendous.
It's a really classy looking look for something that I just do when I wake up too late. I can wear it like that to my day job.
And I'll stick a hairband in it too sometimes.

I almost always wear my hair down. I look ridiculous in a pony tail, so I never bother wearing one.
But when I'm running a bit late I do that side braid that a lot of you have been talking about. Its pretty easy and I like how it looks.
But pretty much everyday I straiten it and leave it down.

Well my hair is too short to pull up so it doesnt leave me very many options, but I love it short. I either just put a couple products in, finger comb it and then let it air dry, for my natural curly hair. Or I comb it, brush it, blow dry it, and then straighten it. Being hte lazy person I am it usually stays curly.

I usually just brush it... and that's it, I wear headbands too sometimes.
But on days that I decide to put it up, I'll put it in a chignon.

It's a bun near the nape of your neck, it can be worn formally at weddings or dances, or just casually.

It looks like this, but there's many different ways you can do it.

I usually wear my hair down, i'll straigten it or let it stay naturally wavy.

Generally if its straight I'll take some hair from the front and pin it in the back kinda like a half up half down thing except it looks much nicer imo.

If its wavy I'll just let it be, or i'll throw in some braids and pin them back.

I always leave my bangs straight down and curl them under so i can see.
