So i have a heart shaped face, green eyes and brown thin hair. it is a little past my shoulders and i have bad split ends. its just kinda plain and lifeless. i am in dire need of a new hairstyle, i like layers because it makes my hair look thicker, and bangs depending on how they are situated look good on me. also i have glasses. i want meduim-length hair (maybe a little shorter) but no pixie cuts or anything (no posh beckham please)

so can you maybe help me and post some pictures, i really dont care for the virtual makeover things.

Try maybe face-framing & layers. It will add that extra volume and it will make your hair look a lot thicker. I have somewhat thin hair & I have face-framing & layers. I love them, & I; same, have brown hair....but I have high-lights. Back-combing is nice, only if you like that. Hope that helps

Wow, you pretty much just described me. I had hair down to almost my belly button last summer until I cut it off for locks of love. My new hair cut was a little below my chin, with layers and side bangs. I know you don't want the pixie cuts, so try cutting it in between your shoulders and chin. I would definately suggest layers, my hair is really thin, and layers have helped make it look a lot fuller. HTH!!!
