My daughter has long hair. Will the hair dryer at the AKL be powerful enough to dry her hair or should we bring one from home? TIA

Well its a regular hair dryer, so if she needs a super duty one at home then she will probably need one there too.

Bring your own or it will take hours! I have long thick hair and even with my home dryer (1500 watt) it takes about 25 minutes to get it dry-no style just dry. When at WDW I just let it air dry and then straighten it with my straightener because that only takes me 15 minutes and at least it looks stlyed. My hair is wavy bordering on curly so I have to have some style to it. The AKL dryers work great for my bangs but take forever if I was trying to dry or style my wet hair.

We had a hairdryer at ASMo. It definitely is not the most powerful thing in the world. I think my wife used her own last time, instead of theirs.

The hairdryers aren't as bad as hotel dryers used to be, but they're still weak. If you have thick hair, bring your own.

If you have thin hair that need some oomph from a decent dryer (and a lot of hairspray) to give it some body, bring your own.

Bring your own. I have medium thick hair and just ended up wearing it wet most days because the AKL hairdryer was so bad!
