in 2002 when we went for MNSSHP, my husband stopped and went for a haircut and the guy put blue in his hair and then lotsa sparkles - He also put a Mickey on the back of his head. When the stylist offered "The Works" to my husband, he said, Don't worry, everyone will know you've gotten your hair cut here". We went to EPCOT for dinner and everyone, even cast members wanted to know where he got his hair done, no one knew, like the stylist said! People were taking pictures of his head. When we were at Italy for dinner, some lady, nonchalantly leaned over and took his picture.
We're going back in a few weeks with a whole group of people and the men are planning on getting The Works

As I walked out of the barbershop, the parade was going on. Every float I passed had Disney characters on it, and as they spied me, they pantomimed, “Nice hair!” It was amazing how many of them did that to me. It was obvious they knew I had gotten my hair cut at the Harmony Barber Shop.

Since I was by myself and can be quite shy at times, I quickly brushed the sparkles from my hair. I honestly had no idea how many sparkles had been placed on my head during my hair cut. I think I was at Cinderella’s castle by the time I had brushed the last of the sparkles from my hair. But when I undressed that evening, I found a whole lot more sparkles (I know, that is way too much information). When that barber dusted me with pixie dust, he really dusted me. As they say, magic happens when you least expect it. I went to sleep that night with a BIG smile upon my face.

My dh got his hair cut at the barbershop about 10 years ago. After putting dh in the chair with the cape, he said, "Can you wait a minute, I have to make a call?" We thought that was ok, but hey, whatever. Turns out he summoned the barbershop quartet to come in and serenade him to "When You Wish Upon a Star". Of course I cried, but I have a picture of all 6 of them. This is when they had the older folks singing. We're going to bring ds6 in a few weeks. Does anybody know if they still do this?
