Hair Cut at MK Barber Shop

I've been growing my hair out for locks of love. It's already half way down my back, but I have to wait until next May/June to cut it. (My sister wants us to have updos for her wedding--which will be at WDW!) So I was wondering if when we go to MK after the wedding if the barber shop would cut my hair for locks of love. I just thought it would be cool to have it done in my favorite park in the world!

When my husband cut his LONG hair for locks of love we didn't have a local place that specifically did it, so we just followed the instructions on their website and sent it in directly ourselves. If they don't send it in, just tell them to either braid it or bundle it together with rubber bands before making the ever crucial first snip.
I can't remember their website address, but I'm sure simple search should bring up the info you need.

I heard that YES you can have this done, just bring a zip lock bag with you and they will put a few elastics around the hair and then you can take the hair with you and donate it to "Locks of Love". The website is www.locksoflove.com I think this is very nice of you to do. I'm actually thinking of doing my 2 daughters hair also. Their hair is very very long and they have wanted to do this for awhile now. Most of all they want to do it to make some other person alittle happier in their tough journey through life. I would love for my girls to keep their long hair but this is their decision that they made at the ages of 7 and 5; and I'm glad that I have two awsome little girls that care about others. (guess i raised the girls well so far)

I was originally going to have it cut around now, by my own hair stylist. So I've already been on the locks of love website. But I thought it would be more special right to have it done in Disney

Thanks! My mom had us keep our hair long (well at least mine) for forever. So when I got it cut the first time (before I knew about Locks of Love) it was only a few inches a time. But I decided last May, after I got it chopped to above my shoulders-yikes-that I was going to grow it out for Locks of Love. I hate needles and iv's, them being in your skin grosses me out, so I don't give blood. So this is my small way of trying to give something to others, in a way I can

I'm doing this as well and asked the barber at MK when I had my last trim there and YES they will do it! Mine is finally just past my shoulders (I had about an inch of hair at this time last year!) so I have a ways to go I am hoping to have it done in December as my hair is growing like a weed!
