Hi :wave2: Ok. In the summer time I cloured DD14 hair. Darker than we thought, we put up with it but NOW. The roots are showing and she wants back to natural before getting hair cut on Friday. I have a feeling it would cost too much for the hair dresser to do it. Now some where this summer I saw the removal in a store BUT WHERE? Any ideas? :confused3

Call the company of the hair product you used sometimes they can suggest something. I had a bad experience a few years ago and they told me to use Tide I believe. But they maybe able o suggest something for your case. I learned my lesson now he only hing I do myself is highlights. Maybe you could get a quote from your hairdresser before she does anything. I maybe cheaper to get it cut and then do the color. Good luck! Kathy

TIDE , as in laundry detergent?

As a teen, I dyed my hair a zillion times with every diffferent colour and with every different product and killed it - to the point it was starting to fall out. I subsequently had to cut it off really short. Just go to a hairdresser and get it done right.

Hi,
I just thought I would let you know that the number one rule of
hair coloring is that " color will not lift color "
That means that in order to lighten your daughters hair you will
have to use some kind of bleaching product.
If you decide to go this route, make sure to only apply the bleaching product
to the area that only has color. Otherwise you'll end up making the roots
lighter too.
Oh and by the way the tide trick won't work for your daughter as it has been
too long. She has probably washed her hair dozens of times since she colored it and it has probably lightened it as much as its going to.
If I can help with any more advise let me know.

In my 19th year of hairdressing.
