Hair Braiding?

Does anyone know if there is a place at WDW that does hairbraiding? DGD (10) told me how much she loves to see girls who have been on vacation come home with their hair done. I think she is thinking of the islands, but hey Florida is a warm place too! I think she would just like one or two with a few beads in them. Any spots around the world? Grammy

Perwig salon at the BC and YC does the hair braiding Or by the pools they do hair wrapping

They do hair wrapping by the pool at CBR. They had 3 stations set up this past summer when we were there. My daughter had it done and left it in for about a month or so. She chose very "island" colors...coral, turquoise, and yellow. She loved it, it was a great $20 souvenir!!

We also had it done at Magic Kingdom right outside the Pirates of the Carribean ride. Have fun!

Having it done at MK would probably be he most convenient for us because we are staying off site. It would be sometime next week. Anybody know if they are there this time of year. Thanks for all the replys. Grammy

My friend's daughter had it done at POR. My DD wants it done too when we stay there!

Beware that the price is by the inch and depends on what charms are chosen. My daughter had very long hair when we did this at the BC. The cost with tip was over $60.

Also, this fee could not be put on your room charge.

Did you want hair wrapping or braiding?

Wrapping is done all over- by the pools, in the parks, you will see it all over.

Braiding (like done on island vacations) is done only in salons. My DD had it done at the GF salon a couple of years ago. I would call ahead for an appointment if you want braiding.

Those pics of my DD were taken at MK last year on Feb 9th, so chances are good they'll be there next week when you visit. Enjoy your trip!
