Hair braiding on the wonder

If my daughter is interested in having her hair braided do I have to sign her up early for this? Is it part of the spa or is it something they do on a deck?

Definitely sign up because there are limited spaces. Check the Navigator right away. Sign ups are generally around 5:30pm on the first evening outside the theather/shops.

Just got off the Wonder on 11/25/04. They took hairbraiding appointments on Embarkation day right outside of the entrance to Cove Cafe (Deck 9). We made our appointments that afternoon. They actually started the hair braiding that night, but we got the first appointments for Monday morning at 9 am. There are only two ladies who do the hair braiding on the ship. They began at 9 and went right through until 10:30 that night! They did a great job! This was much more pleasant than the hairbraiding area on Nassau. They do the braiding right up on Deck 9. You can get your daughter a drink, and she can jump in the pool as soon as they are done. There are a bunch of ladies doing the hairbraiding on Castaway Cay, too.

What about hair wrapping? Is that offered too? I kind of think my DD8 might like the wrapping better because I know she hates it when I braid her hair... and I don't pull as tight as I imagine these "professionals" do!!!

I am currently on the Wonder right now..My DD just got hair braided this morning...They take appt from 2:30 - 3:30 on embarkation day and they get filled up quickly, mostly on Sea Day... Keep in mind if you don't get the ship braided, do it on CC instead.

Corn rows are $2.00 each, Yes, they have hair wrapping, $1.50 per inch Yes, they do adults too. Even Men!! although not too many though...LOL!! i think for regular braiding is 1.50 each, .50 more for longer hair for each braid.
