Hair braiding at Stormalong Bay?

Did I read somewhere that they do hair braiding and beading poolside at Stormalong Bay?

Has anyone had this done? How much? Do we need an appointment? What are the hours?

Yes they do have a booth near SAB to do hair braiding/wrapping. Not sure of the prices but I think that they open at 10am. I don't know what time they close.

they do the braiding right next to HH's. Not sure of hrs. With boys I don't need that.

I wouldn't call it poolside. You couldnt get it done, while you watch your kids swim. I have long hair, its not Repunsal long, but its long and one "braid" with a couple of beads was like $20 last summer.

I don't believe the outside kiosks do more than a single braid. You may want to book an appointment at the salon located at the YC/BC. I'm pretty sure they charge around $45 for the crown effect braiding. Here's their number if you want to call and get more info, 407-934-3260. Not sure, but it might be less expensive to do before you leave on vacation. There are a few Snip-Its locations near you, if you want to see if they offer braiding. I think our Saugus store offers it, but I don't know if all of them have it available.

The salon is perwig's at the beach club and it's around 50.00 for a half the hair to be braided (crown area)My dd had this done be sure to put sunscreen on her scalp.We did book an appointment.

Getting it done before hand might be the way to go I guess - to save time anyways - I don't know about saving $$$ because I just called the Snip-its near me and they think it'll probably cost $50 also!

The outside Kiosks are hair wraps, not braids (as someone already pointed out). That is taking a small section of hair and wrapping colored thread around it. It wouldn't make a difference in hair maintenence but it's cute.

My DD wants the half head braiding so I made her an appt. at the GF salon, Ivy Trellis. The CM told me $55 for that. She also said it takes about 15 minutes.

Yup, sounds like $50 is about the average, even at Snip-its. At least if you get it done ahead of time, you won't be taking time out from your vacation. I'm sure she'll look great with it done though.

Does anybody have a pic of the braiding? I've seen multiple on here of the wrapping, but no braids yet and would love to.
