Hair Braiding at PO French Quarter?

We are going to PO French Quarter in November and my DD saw that they may possibly do hair braiding? Do they still do them? And are they hair braids or hair wraps? Do they do a good job? An advice/tips?

We were at FQ last week. I didn't see a braiding station there, but there is one at Riverside. It is $2 an inch. My DD noticed it. Her thought was it would be expensive to do her hair.
