Hair and make up dillema

Just got my confirmation back from Ana at beaute speciale and they are planning on starting us at 8 am for a 2:30 wedding. well my mom, grandma, and MOH are having a cow because they dont want to be done that early. does anyone know anything about the yacht/beach club salon?? do they do hair AND makeup??

i had my nails done at the yacht ad beach.
and it was ok

about them not wanting it that early. i had the sameproblem but i went with what they thought. my wedding was 2:30 and we started at 6:30 a.m. we had two grandmas. two moms, 4 girls, me and a flower girl and we just finished in time.

what you have to remember is if your doing hair and makeup that you need both and you stillneed to then get dresses so you have to be done at like 1o the latest

also who ever goes in the beginning they retouch up towards the end . they do this to everyone.

For our 10 am wedding, we need to be ready for picture pick up at 8:30, so Ana is starting us at 4:30. I understand it though...you don't want to be scrambling on your wedding day, you will need to get dressed, etc. I get stressed when in a time crunch, so however much I don't want to get up that early, I don't want to be panicked either. We have 4 bridesmaids, 1 mother, 1 mother's make up, a flowergirl and me! I am wondering if we need more time...

I would agree. I am having Ana too and I have me, my mom, two flower girls, two bridesmaids my wedding is at 7 and she is meeting us at 11. I thought it was a little crazy too! But I guess not.

I had Ana as well do my hair and make up and my mums hair and make up. I got married at 2:30pm as well and she started working on us at 10:30am, only finishing at 1:30pm. I think 8am is a perfect time you don't realise how long it takes to do all the hair and make-up. Ana is great!!

Does anyone have pictures for hair/makeup yet? Do you have any recommendations if you've even only had a trial so far...I'm going for my planning session in Feb and I don't even know where to begin with the hair/makeup trials...not to mention my hair is curly!!!!

Amanda... maybe call Anna from Makeover Majic. I hear she works a lot faster (45min per person vs. 1.5hrs) than Beaute Speciale... maybe she can schedule you later in the day??

I've got a 2:30 wedding and they wanted to come from 9 to 1 to do hair and makeup for 4 of us. I asked them to come from 8 to 12 instead - I know I'll be freaking out if we run long!! my plan though is to have them do everyone's hair first and then do everyone's makeup at the end so that we don't need touchups.

I'm using Patricia Lejeune (www.lejeune-pca.com). I did a trial with her in September that turned out really well. I have curly hair too, but for some reason it wouldn't hold curl that day She fixed it!

I Am Also Going With Ana Fr Beaute Special, My Wedding Is At 730 And She Is Coming At 1pm And There Is Only 3 Of Us! I Was In A Wedding In Nov (not At Disney) But There Were 5 Bridemaid And Bride For Hair Only All Updo's, We Started At 10 Am Wedding Was At 3pm We Got Done And Were In A Hurry To Get Dressed Luckily We Were All Doing Our Own Makeup As We Were Done W/ Hair. But Itwas A Rush.......
