Hagrids likely or no

So I have a trip in mid August and have been hearing wait times are crazy long also Hagrids isn’t guaranteed to be open at park opening and hearing it’s closed frequently. So is this going to be the case from now on or do you think the issues they are having will be resolved soon?? (I am aware it doesn’t operate in rain) just trying to see if this unpredictable opening will continue??

Everything I’ve read said to truly fix the ride a long down time will be necessary. Until then they’ll have to run shortened windows to reduce the stress on the ride and allow more time for daily maintenance.

While things aren't perfect still things have been changing the past few weeks. They do typically open it during opening time and it's open until around 5pm unless weather gets involved, or they decide to do work and/or add/remove carts from the track. It's also been reported by someone on the forum that wait times are higher in case there are delays and typically if nothing is delayed the wait time is actually half the time they estimate, or even less. However, things do still happen.

While there is still progress to be made, things have slowly gotten better in the past few weeks so don't give up hope entirely yet. Also, all outside rides do not operate when lightning is detected 10 miles away from the parks.

Yes, all of the above is true from many trip reports I have ready. To elaborate on what Disxuni has stated, for the last 2 weeks it has been consistently opening at park open and operational issues during the day have been decreasing as time has gone on as well, along with adding more trains running as time has gone on (for continued increased capacity).

With every report I've read over the past 2 weeks, real wait times have been around half of the posted wait times. They're just buffering in the event that they do need to temporarily take the ride down.

I also posted this on the Hagrid thread, but there is absolute hope for riding. We didn’t rope drop it and weren’t even planning on riding this trip, but we decided to try our luck when the wait went down to 120 minutes. We were in line at 2:30 and off at 3:30. It was absolutely worth waiting an hour, and the line moved so fast we felt like we maybe waited 20 minutes top. It wasn’t bad at all!
