Hagrid's during HHN

I am planning to attend HHN on multiple nights and possible doing stay and scream to get in a house or two early. If I'm at HHN what do ya'll think about hopping over to IOA on the hogwarts express before IOA closes to try and get a ride on Hagrid's? Is that a dumb plan? Will I get stuck in IOA and then have to hike all the way back to the front gate of US to back into HHN?

Also, if the single rider line at Hagrid's a big time saver?

Well figure everyone not at HHN will go over to IOA.

Single rider was 20 minutes for us.. Of course can vary and may not be available.

Hagrid's doesn't operate until IoA closes, or at least not now. That might change for later HHN dates as the ride continues to operate and get better.

If I understand right, Hogwarts Express does not run (either way) once HHN starts. Hopefully someone will confirm or correct me.

You are correct......HE doesn’t run at all when HHN is on
